CALTRAN is a general public transportation service with priority emphasis to the elderly and disabled persons which provides two types of service: demand response and para-transit. The demand response requires a 24 hour notice. The para-transit route includes normal day to day transit needs for work , education, etc. We transport people to dialysis, medical appointments, physical therapy, work, and shopping. We are a direct Medicaid Medical Transportation provider. A private pay system is in place that costs $1.25 per one way trip and $2.50 round trip within the city limits of Fulton. CalTran is a safe and economic way to get around.
