Food Pantry

Food Pantry hours are 9am-Noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 5-7pm on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month.The pantry is closed on Thursday. The food pantry receives the food we distribute from several sources including the Central Missouri Food Bank, TEFAP government commodities, while the majority of items come from local organizations and individuals. We encourage the giving of items that are canned, packaged, fresh or frozen. Cash donations are used to purchase food during shortage periods. Any donations of food, hygiene items, or plastic bags, as well as volunteers are always need and greatly appreciated. While all donations to the programs of SERVE, Inc. are tax deductible, donations; items or monetary, to the pantry are eligible for an additional tax credit. The food pantry is open year around, four days per week, as well as 2 evenings per month.We provide limited emergency financial assistance when funding is available for utilities, rent, lodging, and prescriptions; which is limited to one time per six month period. Applications can be picked up at any time during office hours. Completed applications can be turned in Monday 9am-noon & 1-4pm, as well as Wednesday and Fridays from 9am-noon. Applications require various documentation & incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.
