How do I know if I’m eligible for your services?

General guidelines for the food pantry is income of 125% to 150% of the federal poverty level. The Food pantry is open 9am-noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from 5pm-7pm. Financial Assistance also follows federal poverty income guidelines, although there is no guarantee of eligibility, it is based on funding available and persons must provide documentation to prove need. Financial Assistance applications can be obtained at the front desk of SERVE, Inc.

How often can I utilize your services?

Food pantry items can be received once per calendar month. Emergency financial assistance can only be received one time in a six month period.

Are volunteer opportunities available?

Yes, in many areas. Please contact us if your interested in volunteering with a program or if you have a particular talent or expertise your willing to share. Volunteer applications may be picked up at the front desk. If aged 55 or over, contact Mary Gordon, Retired & Senior Volunteer Program director.

How can I help the needy in Callaway County?

Donations of food, clothing, household items including furniture, hygiene items, and money are always needed and greatly appreciated. Any and all donations are tax deductible! Also, food pantry donations may qualify for a tax credit of up to 50%.
